Global Tiananmen Vigil - Remember the victims
of the Tiananmen massacre of June 4, 1989

Eighteenth anniversary of the Tiananmen crackdown:
Join the Global Tiananmen Vigil to commemorate the victims of the massacre in downtown Beijing, China

During the night of June 3-4, 1989, the communist "People's Liberation Army" murdered hundreds, if not thousands, of students, workers, and other innocent Chinese people who peacefully demanded reform in the People's Republic of China. As the Chinese Communist Party continues its totalitarian rule over China, imprisoning, torturing, and executing innocent people, and mounting other human rights abuses every day, the horrendous crimes committed seventeenth years ago in central Beijing were never properly investigated and prosecuted.

To commemorate the 18th anniversary of the sacrifice of the Tiananmen martyrs, please attend rallies and commemorative events in your area this June 4 and

put a light in your window on June 4, 2007, 8:00pm (your local time).

We hope to create a rolling light of hope around the world, expressing our solidarity for the oppressed people in China.
